Small Grants in the Wetlands Green Life Project

We invite you to participate in the grant competition for initiatives focused on the restoration and conservation of peatlands, marshes, and wetlands located in Natura 2000 areas and Green Infrastructure zones.

Why apply?

Small Grants enable local entities to independently implement small but concrete initiatives supporting the goals of the Wetlands Green Life project, particularly related to the protection of at least one of the project’s target habitats. A single beneficiary may receive up to PLN 80,000 in non-refundable support.

Which actions are eligible for support?

  • Restoration of degraded peatlands and marshy meadows
  • Small water retention – blocking ditches, thresholds, palisades
  • Removal of invasive or expansive species

Who can apply?

Legal entities operating in Poland, including:

  • non-governmental organizations
  • other entities engaged in pro-environmental activities

Evaluation criteria

  • Substantive compliance (50%)
  • Feasibility (30%)
  • Sustainability of effects (20%)

After a positive decision, you will sign a contract and begin implementation.
